Welcome to my website. On these pages you will see a variety of paintings. Some of my latest works are the florals and water lillies but also new are my paintings of mostly color with very little recognizable imagery, these paintings are very heavily textured. You will also see some of my collage work, just one of many art forms that I enjoy doing.

My approach to painting has always been the same and that is to reach inside my mind, myself to bring forth imagery that is completely and uniquly mine. I see no reason to attempt to copy nature because nature is perfect within itself. I also see no reason to attempt to do what other artist have done in the past because that too would be a waste of my time even though I love going to galleries and museums to see what has come out of the minds of other artist. Art should be personel, ideas should come from within. Every person on this planet is unique and if artistly incline, has something very unique to offer. Work and create from your own experience and reach inside to find that thing, that stuff that is yours and present it to the world for examination. I paint to clear my mine of the thousands of ideas that consume me. I long to see my dreams becoming reality. I love working with color so my paintings are always very colorful.

When I finish a painting, I can only enjoy it for a moment, examining it's content only to make sure that I have completed my task satisfactorily, to make sure all the pieces of the puzzle fit, and then it is on to the next idea. I have always been able to move in several directions artisticly, there is always that idea that gets trapped in my head that has to come out.
